Dr.Keith Johnston graduated with honours in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the Royal College of Surgeons, Dublin, Ireland in 1995. Then rotated through St.James and the Rotunda Hospital, before returning to work in Northern Ireland in most of the major hospitals. He acquired his membership from the “Royal college of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists” RCOG in 2000.

Wishing to further his surgical skills in the developing field of Laproscopic or “keyhole” surgery he under took a 2 1⁄2 year fellowship in this field in the one of the leading training facilities in Australia, Sydney Womens Endosurgery Centre (SWEC). After completing his fellowship in advanced laproscopic gynaecological surgery, he returned to Northern Ireland and was appointed to his NHS Consultants post.

He was the Chair of the Irish Gynecological Endoscopic Society(IGES) 2010-2012, has published widely and presented many papers at international meetings throughout North America, Australia and in Europe.
He is currently a full time NHS consultant in Antrim Area Hospital with a very busy public & private Obstetric and Gynecological practice. His Practice encompasses all aspects of general Obstetrics and Gynecology with a special interest in minimal access gynecological surgery.
